In the short video below, I say a bit more about the thinking behind my writing process …
For even more context on this project, Indy-area folks will soon be able to visit the May 2024 exhibit at the Harrison Center in Indianapolis titled “Is There Nothing New Under the Sun? A Conversation with Ecclesiastes, Religion Spirituality and the Arts 2024.” As I’ve mentioned already in blog posts this spring, To Tend the Wind is my final project for the Religion, Spirituality and the Arts seminar, which is putting on this exhibit. I’ll be doing a reading from To Tend the Wind at the Harrison Center’s May 3rd exhibit opening event from 6-9 pm in their Underground Gallery. Even if you can’t make the in-person exhibit, be sure to check out the soon-to-be-available virtual exhibit as well as the full To Tend the Wind novella, available to subscribers of my blog through August 1, 2024.
Enjoy. 🙂
2025 Update: An expanded version of the novella To Tend the Wind, retitled Kohelette: A Novel, will be available from Clay Patin Press in 2026.
Thanks, Callie. I
